Multi-GPU Artificial Intelligence & Quantum sims Lab @ CBPF: paving the road towards Quantum Machine Learning with Clécio R. de Bom Date: Friday, June 16th, 13:00 BRT “The simulation of Quantum algorithms on Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) has become an increasingly relevant research topic due to the potential to simulate and scale-up quantum systems beyond Read more

Date: 16/12/2022 Presenter: Dr. Safwan Aljbaae Abstract: Time series forecasting has been recently used in problems of celestial mechanics and astrodynamics. Here, we will discuss recent applications for predicting solar activities and planetary amplitudes for studying the effect of drag perturbations on LEO satellites and classifying orbits close to Near-Earth asteroids. Safwan Aljbaae graduated in Read more

Read more
Do you work with Artificial Intelligence?
Our public consists of astronomers from all levels, from undergraduates to professors. The talks usually consists of a contextualization of the problem and a presentation of the method used. We allocate ~40 minutes for the presenters, followed by ~15 minutes of questions. If you’re an Astronomer/CS student that would be interested, click the link below!
If you have any questions or feedback, let me know.
